        We are constantly surprised that what started as a small idea to simply do something well has evolved into the organization it is today. Our company began more than a quarter century ago in a Walker’s Point warehouse; co-owners Ward, Paul, and Lincoln bonded over vinyl records and a strong desire for a better cup of coffee. Our goal is to deliver a great coffee experience. This means staying involved in every step of the process, developing close partnerships with farmers and cooperatives around the world, and traveling to meet them whenever we can.

        From our roots starting in the Phoenix valley in 1997 to our company today, the ethos of our name is driven by our culture and desire to cultivate the industry in a positive way.           Joe Coffee Company was founded in 2003 by Jonathan Rubinstein as a singular specialty coffee house in the heart of Manhattan’s west village. The vision was simple: brew high-quality, unique coffees in a welcoming space for our community.

          We believe in investing in, uplifting, and protecting the treasured communities we source our coffee from who are being hit hardest by economic strife, climate change, and other issues. Through responsible sourcing practices, investment in infrastructure and education at origin, and direct communication with producers, we aim to improve and uphold the wellbeing of coffee-growing communities who contribute so much to our industry and culture.

          Lofty Coffee

            As a coffee roaster, our goal is to source the most delicious coffee available. Filling our shelves with coffees that showcase the flavor of their origin allows us to show the variety that the coffee world has to offer. At the same time, traceability of the coffee’s journey from the farm to our roasting works is of equal importance. We seek out farms, co-ops and importers from around the world that grow and transport in a sustainable manner to ensure the quality and consistency of our coffee. Our roast philosophy is simple, find the sweet spot. Every coffee has a different spot in the roast spectrum where it tastes the best. We meticulously refine our roast profiles until we find the recipe that properly balances the coffee’s inherent flavors

            OZO Coffee Company is a coffee roaster & retail operator based in Boulder, Colorado with Espresso Cafe locations in Boulder and Longmont, Colorado. Founded in 2007, OZO Coffee has based its growth on core principles of service, quality, community, and sustainability. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our passion for coffee with you.

              Since 2009, Pavement has been welcoming all to experience exceptional coffees, homemade bagels, and community in our 8 locations in Boston and Cambridge. We seek to create positive energy for the community wherever we are. Our coffees are carefully sourced from farms and co-ops across the globe and then roasted in our facility in Brighton, Massachusetts. Both our seasonal single-origin coffees and our blends are selected to celebrate the specific flavor notes inherent in each. We taste and grade many coffees each season and choose only those that we are most excited about. Coffee is like people, each is unique

              We created RISE because we were tired of the coffee products we saw on the market – loaded with sugar, calories, harmful chemicals and words we couldn’t spell.               SQ1 is an award-winning family-owned micro-roaster that has spent the last 15 years roasting and serving some of the highest quality coffee in the world.
