Since 2009, Pavement has been welcoming all to experience exceptional coffees, homemade bagels, and community in our 8 locations in Boston and Cambridge. We seek to create positive energy for the community wherever we are. Our coffees are carefully sourced from farms and co-ops across the globe and then roasted in our facility in Brighton, Massachusetts. Both our seasonal single-origin coffees and our blends are selected to celebrate the specific flavor notes inherent in each. We taste and grade many coffees each season and choose only those that we are most excited about. Coffee is like people, each is unique

We’re here because we believe that coffee is more than just a commodity. We believe it is essential to weekends and workdays, brunches and bundt cakes, and everything in between. We also believe it’s essential to our farmer partners who attentively tend coffee trees from seed to harvest in hopes of making a good life for their family. We play fair, we play hard, and sometimes we just play because we believe that the most important thing we can do, besides making delicious coffee, is to enjoy the ride.

Founded in 2015 by Paul Massard and Chris Nolte, Per’La Specialty Roasters focuses on rare, highly-graded coffees from a rotating list of origins chosen based on both quality and seasonality. All of the coffees in the Per’La portfolio consistently score above an 85 on the coffee grading scale with several of the offerings grading into the 90s. All coffee is roasted to order to ensure maximum freshness, flavor, and aroma

        Portland Coffee Roasters

Since our founding in 1996, Portland Roasting Coffee has sourced our coffee directly from farmers while building sustainable relationships with them and the communities they support. For more than 20 years we’ve worked to create lasting connections extending from our local community to our farmers, our customers and partners. These connections are at the heart of our business, and allow us to focus not just on coffee, but on improving both people and planet.

          Press Coffee Roasters

Press Coffee has become an Arizona staple among specialty coffee enthusiasts. While earning national recognition for their coffees, the Press team has stayed true to their beginnings. PT’s Coffee Roasting Co. believes that a coffee farmer who grows an award-winning coffee should be given all the credit. Recognition develops dedication to craftsmanship, skill in production, and passion for harvest quality. As one of the first coffee roasters to establish a Direct Trade program, PT’s has long been committed to farmers who are artisans of coffee cultivation and practice their craft with dedication, skill, and passion

Red Bay Coffee Roasters was founded in 2014 by Keba Konte, a renowned artist and successful food entrepreneur with deep roots in the San Francisco Bay Area specialty coffee and hospitality industry. Red Bay Coffee is at the forefront of what we believe is the fourth wave of coffee—a firm commitment to ensure coffee production is not only high quality and sustainable, but a vehicle for diversity, inclusion, social and economic restoration, entrepreneurship, and environmental sustainability. We are foodies, artists, activists, community folk, and innovators who love, love, love what we do. Red Bay seeks to create unity by hiring and serving people of all backgrounds, striving to be diverse and inclusive of those who have traditionally been left out of the specialty coffee industry, especially people of color, the formerly incarcerated, women and people with disabilities.

We created RISE because we were tired of the coffee products we saw on the market – loaded with sugar, calories, harmful chemicals and words we couldn’t spell. Our mission is to create the best tasting organic products on the planet and make them available for all to share. In 2014, we set out on a mission to brew the best tasting coffee on the planet, using the best organic ingredients we could source. We’re passionate about life and we wanted to create a coffee that could fuel our dreams.

              Sirius Coffee Roasters

Started by couple Steve and April Fritzen, The Coffee Hound began as a cafe in downtown Bloomington, IL in 2002. Expanding to our second location in Uptown Normal, IL in 2007, as well as starting to roast for our cafes, we started to establish our name in coffee in central Illinois. In 2015, we expanded roasting to an off-site facility to keep up with the demand of local wholesale clients and our cafes. This also allowed us the resources to expand our reach to coffee lovers all over the country, hence the beginning of Sirius Coffee Roasters.

                  Small Planes

We love that a single cup of coffee is simultaneously a global and a local product, and our goal is to shrink the distance between those planes of existence. We created Small Planes to pursue honest, accountable, and fair partnerships that connect quality-focused coffee producers to you. Small Planes Coffee is a specialty roasting company founded by Ryan and Jill Jensen in the spring of 2017 to foster a greater intimacy between the coffees and the communities they love. Our roastery is located in northeast Washington, D.C., just a short walk from the National Arboretum. We believe coffee, done well and with purpose, can draw us closer. Small Planes pursues the following values: fostering community from producer to consumer; continually striving to offer coffees of the highest quality; sustaining ethically-minded business practices, and investing in long-lasting personal connections

We are a Twin Cities roaster and retailer that cultivates relationships with those who share our passion and vision to source, roast, and serve exceptional coffees. We work to build strong producer partnerships, so we can support those who work on the farms and innovate to combat the challenges that climate change brings to the coffee community. We believe that making time to engage with one another in meaningful ways is key for healthy dialogue, relationships, and communities. We strive to be a business that provides a good working environment that gives a decent living wage, benefits, and support for growth within our management.

                    Steeped Coffee

Steeped Coffee has worked very hard to bring you A Simple Cup of quality coffee. Each detail from our Direct Trade standards brings you the best beans, our third-wave artisan coffee that’s hand-roasted in small batches, precision water-cooled grinding down to the micron for a consistent cup, to our nitro sealing for freshness that stops the clock on that fresh-ground coffee aroma, and all the other small things we do behind the scenes — yet somehow adding up to make all the difference. A Simple Cup.

Our story, much like our business, is always evolving. Everything we do — our cafes, our coffee roasting lab, and our franchise business — is rooted in a commitment to excellence, to building communities, and to staying curious. Our mission statement and our core values guide us, allowing us to approach work more based on who we want to be, rather than on what we want to do. With coffee, Summit’s commitment to relationships begins with an approach to sourcing. Through making trips around the world every few months to find and revisit coffee producers, to working with the same farmers and cooperatives year after year, Summit values relationships above all else in the supply chain. We’re committed to finding the harmony of remarkable coffee, sourced responsibly from great partners, and roasted in small batches at our certified organic facility. From here, we distribute nationwide to our own cafés, and to those of our partners.
