Gingerbread Milk Tea

Ingredients
  

  • 15 tsp Earl Grey Loose Leaf Black Tea BLK & Bold or your favorite brands
  • 4 cups Hot water
  • Gingerbread spice
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tsp brown sugar syrup
  • 1 cup milk or milk alternative of choice

Instructions
 

  • Combine ginger, cinnamon, cloves, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a small bowl and whisk together until all spices are evenly mixed.
  • Pour some hot water into an empty mug to warm it up. Then, discard the water when the cup is hot to the touch.
  • Put loose-leaf tea in a kettle or saucepan. Let steep for 5-6 minutes. Be careful not to over-steep.
  • While the tea is steeping, warm milk on the stove or microwave for 30 seconds to one minute if preferred. Add the desired amount of gingerbread spice to the milk and stir.
  • Pour strained loose-leaf tea into four mugs and stir in three tablespoons of brown sugar syrup in each mug.
  • Add 1/4 of the spice mixture to each mug and stir.
  • Pour warm milk into the tea.
  • Grab your gingerbread cookies and enjoy!
